15 and 16 May 2010. Be sure to mark your Calendar for the 3rd edition of the ANZA SOCCER International Junior Tournament. Last year, we had more than 50 teams / more than 700 players competing, and this year we expect 68 teams (23 from abroad) and more than 1000 players.
Entries from ANZA Soccer for this year will be the Competition Teams (except the U6s, sorry) and the SEA Cup Teams, plus entries from the Club Level where we either need to form a team or there is an interest from the coaches. Our target is 2 teams in U8 (we only have 1 U8 Competition team, so we need another team coming from the U7s or U8s), 3 teams in the U10 (which will be our 3 U-10 Comp Teams from the A & B Leagues), 3 in the U-12s (expected to be the 2 U12 Comp Teams plus the U-13 SEA Cup Team), 2 in the U-14s (one of which will be a SEA Cup Team and the other needs to be formed within the U14s) and 2 teams in the U16 (one of which will be our COE Challenge Cup U-16 team, with one more team to be formed).
Games will be played all day (8am-5pm) on Saturday 15 May & from 9am-3.30pm on Sunday 16 May 2010
Age Groups – U8, U10, U12, U14 & U16. These will be managed according to abilities. U7s can compete in the U8 division and U9s in the U10 division.
